There's a problem though, the gun seems to interfere with the SimVac, when I use it, the victim now collapses with a cloud of smoke and reappears somewhere else...

Yes, it does. This is explained in paragraph 3 of my original post. It is up to you to choose if you want a fully working simvac or a gun.

Would like to let all of you no that world of warcraft is much better than the sims and if you dnt play it you shuld join my server so i can OWN ALL NOOBS

To zip a file (or group of files) you would have to an archiving utility installed on your computer that does zip files. Any one will do. FilZip and 7zip are two of the many free programs available that can do this. Simply install one of them, read the instructions, and you will be able to do that. To unzip files is just as easy, install one of these programs and you will have the ability to unzip files. If you have Windows XP installed you do not even need a separate program to unzip files. XP has built in functionality that allows you to automatically unzip *.ZIP format files. If you do use XP then you can simply drag any *.zip file -with the RIGHT :arrow: mouse button -over to any place you want- select "Extract" from the popup menu. The file will be unzipped into its own folder there automatically. That folder will contain the files that you are looking for.

Hmmmm... I found out that the Handgun does not work with just the base game. If you have Sims 2 Nightlife on your computer it works just fine... and I hope Vampcat can find the way to make the "bang" sound so he can remove the silencer... it makes the handgun not look very cool

That guns amazing as soon as you can find a bang you should make another and give it more shots aswell

the gun looks really good but when i use it in just the normal base game my sims stop working they just freeze permanantly
also i put it in a house then when i tried to move a family in it refused to load

I don't think it will work with some computers because...my computer seems to want all downloads in .PACKAGE format , where as this is a .rar format

You can unrar all files on this site by using the "sims 2 package cleaner"

this will turn it into a .PACKAGE file which means people who couldnt play it now can

Umm.... No. You need to extract these with winrar, if you just change the file type it will not work.

That's exactly right, one needs to extract the *.RAR archives with an extraction utility such as WinZip, 7zip, FilZip, etc... After doing so the result will be files that are usable with the TS2 game. What I believe NanoFlip is talking about is the "Sims2pack Clean installer" (available at this site: http://sims2pack.modthesims2.com/index.php?page=1) and one of it's working features is to turn files contained inside a *.Sims2Pack file into individual *.Package files. The "Sims2pack Clean installer" does claim that it has built-in *.rar and *.zip file support, however I have never actually seen that feature work, myself.
To obtain WinRar just google it or you can click on one of the links in this thread to acquire one of the other mentioned utilities that will solve your problem. It really doesn't matter which one of these programs you use, any one of them will extract these RAR files.

Completely wrong , no files will work witht he sims 2 if it is in .rar format

Are you retarded? o.O On mts2 the majority of files are .RAR. No file will run in the downloads folder if it is .rar, but the purpose of a .rar file is to compress a file so it is a smaller size. If you just change the extention to .package, the file size will be the same and still unusable (because the code used to compress it will still be in it making it not work with TS2). So you do NEED to extract it with a program called winrar, which turns it into a folder that has the compressed .package in there. Please make sure what your saying is correct, otherwise you can confuse people.
