Welcome to Sims2Workshop. Our aim is to "break the chains" of the original Sims games and deliver new game modifications to fans worldwide, 100% Free. Most files on this site are archived in to either .zip, .rar or .7z format so a file extractor is needed, this is for faster downloads and economy of resources. Site Name Change

This site started out as a pure Sims 2 modding site, when constructing this site, we never thought we would be expanding, we actually thought we would be a big flop, but that was soon proven wrong. When we hit the predicted monthly bandwidth like a sledghammer in the first few days, we knew we had miscalculated, since then the site has grown, and evolved beyond it's designed capabilities, now we have to evolve again and this time it is not a change I can make behind the scenes that will just pop up.

With the recent release of The Sims3, the site name "Sims2Workshop" is no longer appropriate, so we have secured a new domain for the site. A name was needed that would not need to be changed again, yet still captured the goals of the site, so the new name "SimsMods4U" was born. Next month, Sims2Workshop will be changing it's primary web address to www.simsmods4u.com. All old links to the site will be redirected to the main site index unless updated manually on linked sites.

Any link prefixed with "sims2worshop.com", "sims3workshop.com", "sims2autos.com" will be redirected to the fourm index instead of the aimed forums.

This is not something we ever planned on doing, but now we have to do it, best to get it out of the way as soon as possible.

This change will not take effect for at least 1 month from the date on this post.

Due to change of circumstances this will no longer be going ahead
