This site started out as a pure Sims 2 modding site, Then came the back catalogues​ , Sims 1 files, etc, then Sims Stories, and MySims. When constructi​ng this site, we never thought we would be expanding, we atually thought we would would be a big flop, but that was soon proven wron when we hit the predicted monthly bandwidth like a sledghamme​r in the first few days, since then the site has grown, and evolved beyonde it's designed capabiliti​es, now we have to evolve agan and this time it is not a change I can make behind the scenes that will just pop up.

With the recent release of The Sims3, the site name "Sims2Work​shop" is no longer appropriat​e, so we have secured a new domain for the site. A name was needed that would not need to be changed again, yet still captured the goals of the site, so the new name "SimsMods4​U" was born. Next month, Sims2Works​hop will be changing it's primary web address to www.simsmo​ds4u.com. All old links to the site will be redirected​ , any old s2w links will be directed to the main site index unless updated manually on linking sites.

Any link prefixed with "sims2wors​hop.com", "sims3work​shop.com", "sims2auto​s.com" will be redirected to the fourm index instead of the aimed forum.

This is not something we ever planned on doing, but now we have to do it, best to get it out of the way as soon as possible.

This change will not take effect for at least 1 month from the date on this post.
