Here is a new version of my Tuned Fiat Punto. This is the same as my original but with added all-round Cross-Dril​led & Grooved brake disks with Brembo brake calipers, Roof Scoop, Updated higher quality texture maps with NOS graphics (Best on higher graphics settings), Red Fiat Badge and Abarth Insignia, new lighter textures for the alloys and chrome, A new Tinted Visa in the windscreen  (UK Road-Legal​ ), eliminated minor glitches such as small holes at window edges, and as an added bonus, Carrigon has added Nitro Flame Effects for the new single, wide bore exhaust.

The price for this vehicle has been set at 30,000 but it should never depreciate lower than 25,000

This version has a different name and GUID so it will not overwrite my other versions.

This car can be found in "Misc/Vehi​cles" and you must have the Nightlife expansion pack to use this mod. (Not currently usable by cats and dogs)

To create this mod, I extracted the mesh from the Maxis Fiat Punto (UK release), added my own bonnet vent, aluminium Touring Car spoiler, large alloy rims with low profile tyres, tinted windows , single wide-bore exhaust, clear rear lenses and added a sponsor vinlyl on the rear screen, I also added the sound files from the Sports Car just to make it sound a little better. I used this with a cloned Sedan as Milkshape and simPE were just crashing all the time with the original.

I recommend that if you have more than two playable sims on your lot that you do not try to send them all somewhere in this car at the same time as they wil get a bit confused, but 1 or 2 sims is fine.

I hope you enjoy this mod as I had a lot of fun creating it, and got a lot of satisfacti​­on seeing it in-game (this is my personal favourite modded car by myself (closely followed by my Ducatti 916 Sports Bike and BMW M3 E46)).

This car is great...to​o bad my sims will be driving it and not me.  They always get all the cool stuff...oh well hopefully they'll crash and be blown back into the bits they came from.

yes kilner did make a recolour at MTS2 infact kilner is ME, im known as kilner89 over there, ive also uploaded the recolor here, its just a simple recolor, is that the american spelling of color, Recolour.

But yeah... your colour is our color... and I think your recolour is our re-color..​. though I dont know for sure.... to tell ya the truth I use your spelling more often than not!

I've been trying to download this off-and-on for the past several days (ever since seeing the recolor on MTS2). The transfer is fast for about the first 50k or so, then gradually slows down to ~0.3k (& I'm on 3Mb DSL!). Finally, after receiving the whole file at this agonizing rate, the archive is corrupted! Just getting frustrated​.  

Then that is an issue with your computer or internet settings because the download has been working fine for me, it downloads in less than 10 seconds, and I have checked the speed each day that this has been posted, so the problem is at your end, sorry. And in all the time I have modded the sims, I have never come accross a corrupted archive, so you really need to check your own computer as there is no problem here.
