 Fiat Punto "BadBoy" #3
Here is version 3 of my Tuned Fiat Punto. This is the same as my original but with added Hella rally style fog lamps and all-round cross-driiled & grooved brake disks with Brembo brake calipers.
This version has a different name and GUID so it will not overwrite my other versions.
This car can be found in "Misc/Vehicles" and you must have the Nightlife expansion pack to use this mod.
To create this mod, I extracted the mesh from the Maxis Fiat Punto (UK release), added my own bonnet vent, aluminium Touring Car spoiler, large alloy rims with low profile tyres, tinted windows , twin wide-bore exhaust, clear rear lenses and added a "Yokohama" sponsor vinlyl on the rear screen, I also added the sound files from the Sports Car just to make it sound a little better. I used this with a cloned Sedan as Mikshape and simPE were just crashing all the time with the original.
I recommend that if you have more than two playable sims on your lot that you do not try to send them all somewhere in this car at the same time as they wil get a bit confused, but 1 or 2 sims is fine.
I hope you enjoy this mod as I had a lot of fun creating it, and got a lot of satisfaction seeing it in-game.

No, the original Maxis Fiat Punto is not needed to use this mod, but you must have Nightlife.

When you say you extracted the mesh from the Maxis Fiat Punto (UK release), what do you mean? I'm a little stupid with these things. Where will I find the Maxis Fiat Punto. I was under the impression you extracted the mesh from NFS. Don't you have a tutorial some where on vehicle creation.
PS. Thanks for your creations, they're wonderful and extremely inspiriing.

 Re: Fiat Punto "BadBoy" #3
Maxis created a Fiat Punto (standard) and posted it on their UK website. I extracted the mesh, altered it and added new parts and textures to suit my needs then created a new file by cloning the sedan.
If you would like the Original punto you can find it here:
http://thesims2.uk.ea.com/content.php?i=37
The original Maxis punto is not recolourable, but Numenor over at MTS2 has a hacked version that is. Numenor's version will overwrite the original, but will not effect mine, as mine are made in a completely different way.
I havn't made a tutorial as yet, perhaps in the future when I have improved my methods.

Heh heh, great work once again, what's next?! A roof scoop? Widebody version? Whatever you do next to this car, I'm sure it will look great!

 Re: Fiat Punto "BadBoy" #3
Wow, thats a sporty little number. Can't say I've seen many driving around Central London looking quite so souped! Amazing attention to detail. Thank you, I can't wait to try this in-game.
