Working Handgun!! *Beta*
Here after months of learning how to mod is the reason I started in the first place, A working gun for the Sims 2.
I am calling this version 1.0 as I plan to update it as and when I learn new stuff, but for all of you who have been patiently waiting, I hope you enjoy this version.
The base object I used was the simvac (aspiration reward) the only way I could get this to work was to overwrite some of the anims from the simvac, this can be undone by removing this file from your downloads folder, but I recon that having a slightly faulty simvac is a small price to pay to get a working handgun.
With this gun, the sim does not actually die, although it looks like they do, after writhing in pain and reaching out for someone to help them they will take on the dead pose and turn to dust, they will then be ressurected somewhere nearby.
The shooter must have gold aspiration to get full correct use out of this item, the shooter wil pick the gun up off the floor, walk over tho the sim you have selected, and shoot them in the stomache. They will then seem to put the gun in a shoulder rig (hulster). This gun is one-shot only. I was not able to get a "Bang" sound effect working for this yet so I have fitted a silencer.

This object can be found in "Outside/Hobbies"
This is made using resourcers from the original game only and should not need any EPs to use.

Great work Vampcat love it well done but 2 things 3 things i notice 1. my people ie and then come back. is that normal and something that u cant do anything about? 2. when u click of the gun or its used it dissapears and lastly but not really important i cant seem to place it on the tables or desks. otherwise great love it. keep up the great work.

No, sorry, it has worked perfectly for all the modders I have given it to to test. I do plan on making a vesion 2, and I will be trying some different techniques , so hopfully that might help.

I'd be happy if it killed my sims and the townies. Seems to me that killing the Global NPC's such as the Reaper and/or Mrs Crumplebottom would cause the game to be unstable and perhaps crash because those sims are available in every neighborhood.

yeah i know, but if they died just for that time, like when you delete a sim, he always ends up coming back, as in with the move objects on cheat, it works the same way with npcs, exept
i had a postman which i made him selectable then starved him to death, and i got his grave in a lot now, but now its always a different postman

This has been needed for soooo long... I love this mod simply because The Sims needed it... when a burglar comes in the house... or when a sim just annoys you too much...give em one to the gut... LOL Doesn't kill em but it sure does teach them a lesson... HAHAHA
